MANILA--Three generations of Philippine basketball stars will come together in a special "blitz game" in the PBA All-Star Weekend at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
In the highlight of the order of business on the night of Aug. 5, current PBA stars will team up with legends and D-Leaguers in a fast-paced and entertaining event.
Active players Maverick Ahanmisi, Kevin Alas, Anthony Semerad, and Ian Sangalang, legends Noli Locsin, Bong Ravena, Johnny Abarrientos, and Paolo Bugia, and D-League players Ed Daquioag, Mac Belo, RR Pogoy, and Jonathan Grey make up the Greats team.
The other squad, named the Stalwarts, is composed of Chris Banchero, LA Revilla, David Semerad, Raymond Almazan, legends Alvin Patrimonio, Nic Belasco, Ronnie Magsanoc, and Topex Robinson, and D-League stars Mike Tolomia, Russel Escoto, Raffy Banal, and Carl Cruz.
