MANILA--The PBA released the game schedule of the August and September games of the Governors' Cup.
In a copy of the fixture update received by Dugout Philippines on Wednesday, three cities outside of Mega Manila will get a taste of PBA action.
Panabo is first in line as Alaska and Star collide on Aug. 20 at the said city, while Legazpi is next the following Saturday with the Rain Or Shine-GlobalPort match.
The day after, the much-anticipated "Manila Clasico" takes place as Star and Ginebra battle it out at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City at 6:45 p.m. or right after the 4:30 p.m. clash between Alaska and Blackwater.
In fact, all the remaining Sunday match-ups will take place at 4:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. tip-offs.
Batangas City will also get to see some PBA action as TNT and San Miguel lock horns on Sept. 3.
A bunch of the remaining games of the season-ending conference's eliminations will happen at the Ynares Center, especially five playdates out of six from Sept. 4-14.
The final day of the prelims, however, will be at the Alonte Sports Center in Biñan on Sept. 18 as Blackwater and San Miguel collide at 4:30 p.m. followed by the 6:45 p.m. match between TNT and Ginebra.
The league will take a week off after the Aug. 3 doubleheader featuring the NLEX-TNT and Alaska-Mahindra games to give way to the All-Star Weekend at the "Big Dome". The conference resumes on Aug. 10 with the Meralco-ROS and the Ginebra-Blackwater clashes also at the Quezon City arena.
