SAN JUAN, MM--JRU gets back on track.

Teytey Teodoro buried a clutch jumper with 5.3 seconds left to lift the Heavy Bombers to a win over the gallant fight of the EAC Generals, 60-59, at the FilOil Flying V Centre on Thursday.

The H-Bombers showed signs of pulling away at the start after leading by as much as 11 and ending the 1st quarter with a 19-10 lead.

But the Generals would not acquiesce to letting their guard down as they turned the battle to a complete toss up. Hamadou Laminou tallied a total of 6 blocks in the 1st half and led the charge for EAC to snatch the lead at the break, 30-29.

The seesaw battle continued to end the 3rd quarter, 45-44, with JRU getting back the lead.

The dogfight lasted for good with the Generals falling short of a play.

Francis Munsayac had the chance of redemption after putting the Generals ahead with 11 seconds remaining.
The celebration, however, was immediately gone through the smokes as Teodoro hits the basket sent them all back to earth.

The loss extends the fiasco for EAC, which has now dropped its fourth straight game.

JRU, on the other hand, goes into the middle of the standings with a 2-3 record.

Teodoro had 21 points, while unsung hero Mark Cruz contributed 14 for the Heavy Bombers.

Laminou put in 14 markers, 14 rebounds, and eight blocks for the Generals. Sidney Onwubere had 18 points and 19 boards.
