JAKARTA--Filipino MMA fighters Edward Kelly and Burn Soriano stunned the Jakarta Convention Center crowd after knocking out their respective Indonesian foes in One: Titles and Titans on Saturday night.
Soriano first showcased his striking prowess by sending Mario Wirawan to the canvass for good just 15 seconds into their match with a powerful back fist.
Kelly completed the eventual 2-0 sweep for the Philippines in the said event after dropping Vincent Latoel to the floor by a devastating right hook 57 seconds into the second round of their match, which was the co-main event of the fight card.
In the headliner, Brazil's Luis Santos survived a late onslaught by Kazakhstan's Igor Svirid to take a unanimous decision win to boost his chances of getting a rematch with reigning One welterweight champion Ben Askren.
