QUEZON CITY--Meralco rode on a blitz from the tip-off to trounce Rain Or Shine, 109-102, as the PBA Governors' Cup resumed after the All-Star break at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday night.
The Bolts started the game on a 16-0 run, bucked a second quarter rally by the Elasto Painters, and stretched their lead to as high as 26 en route to the victory.
Allen Durham poured in 32 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocks to lead Meralco.
Dior Lowhorn, on the other hand, tallied 25 markers for ROS.
