MANILA--The United Football League finally resumed hostilities Wednesday afternoon, as Loyola jolts a hapless Laos side with another double-digit beatdown at the Rizal Memorial Stadium

After heavy rains forced the league to postpone its weekend fixtures, the Sparks got their groove in the second half, turning a close contest at the half into a 11-1 rout over the Division 2 titlists.

The former Cup holders had six different players on the scoresheet, with second-half sub Jorel Aristorenas leading the way with a five-minute hat-trick to jolt them to second on the league table, four points adrift of still undefeated Global.

James Younghusband, Alvaro Castiella and Jason De Jong contributed with a brace of their own, with Anton Del Rosario and John Kanayama each found the net as well to repeat their 13-2 massacre last June 28.

Patrick Franksson netted the lone strike for Laos in the 42nd minute with a long bomb that surprised Ace Villanueva.
