Malaysia battles the rest of the world in One's KL return

MANILA--It's Malaysia vs. the rest of the world as eight Malaysians will slug it out in front of their people at One: Unbreakable Warriors at the Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur on Sept. 2.

As announced by One on Wednesday, Ev Ting faces off with Rob Lisita in the main event, while Ann Osman and Agilan Thani take on separate Filipino foes in the undercard.

In a match that could shape up the featherweight class, Ting and Lisita, both eager to get a match with Marat Gafurov for the belt, square off in a special five-rounder.

On the other hand, Osman battles Team Lakay's April Osenio even as Thani stakes his immaculate 5-0 record against Trestle Tan.

In the other notable matches, Peter Davis collides with Shannon Wiratchai, Gianni Subba battles Yago Bryan, Gianni's younger brother Keanu takes on Waqar Umar, and Hisyam Samsudin fights Muhammad Aiman in an all-Malaysian affair.
