QUEZON CITY--Racal eyes to solidify its position at the top when it wraps up the 2016 PBA D-League Foundation Cup Tuesday at JCSGO Gym.
Coach Caloy Garcia was honest to admit that he sees the upcoming game against lowly AMA Online University as a preparation of sorts for the playoffs.
"We treat it as tuneup game. We just have to focus on that and fix the things we need to clean up," he said.
But Garcia remains wary of the threat of the Titans, with James Martinez unloading high-scoring outputs in the team's past two games.
"They're a team on the rise as well. But we'll go out there for the win. All we want is to go to the semis with a win para mataas din ang confidence," he said.
Racal and AMA face off at 4 p.m., following the tussle between Cafe France and winless Topstar ZC Mindanao at 2 p.m.
The Bakers are still hopeful that the Titans can upset the Tile Masters while also eyeing a victory over the Aguilas.
If that happens, Cafe France can still force a triple-tie for the top spot, which would put it as the number one-seed due to the quotient, while Phoenix will settle for the third-seed.
However, the Bakers will have to give it their all, as coach Egay Macaraya will serve his one-game suspension in this game after throwing a ball to an official in their 91-83 defeat to Phoenix last Tuesday.
