Tabuena plays through injured shoulder but struggles anew in Olympics second round

RIO DE JANEIRO--Miguel Tabuena slumped anew in the second round of the Olympic golf competition on Friday as he a 4-over par 75 for a two-day total of 6-over par.

From a share of 42nd place earlier Friday, Tabuena slipped to 53rd place, and he needs to make an impressive outing in the last two rounds to make a contention for a medal.

But he will have to play the final two days of the competition with shoulder pain, which he revealed has been lingering prior to the start of the tournament as per reports.
