TNC bounces back from bad beat, drubs Wings

By Ivan Saldajeno

SEATTLE--TNC rediscovered their winning ways and swept Wings, 2-0, in their TI6 group stage meeting at the Key Arena on Thursday (Philippine Time).

After suffering two devastating defeats at the hands of Alliance earlier Thursday, TNC showed that they can also give their opponents a bad beat as they trumped Wings' four-carry lineup in the opener.

TNC appeared to be easily winning the two-match tie as they soared to an 8-2 lead in Game 2 with Carlo Palad, playing Timbersaw, delivering the goods.

But Wings, the reigning ESL One Pasay champs, made things interesting midway into the match as their team play somewhat neutralized Palad.

Marc Fausto came to the rescue as his Beyond Godlike streak as Juggernaut spelled doom for Wings in the end.

TNC will cap their first day in the megabucks DOTA 2 showdown later Thursday against crowd favorites NaVi.
