SEATTLE--TNC stunned NaVi in the tail-end of their two-game TI6 group stage series to salvage a 1-1 draw at the Key Arena on Thursday (Philippine Time).
The Filipino quintet pulled a huge comeback late in the second game to bounce back from a disastrous series opener against the inaugural winner of the said DOTA 2 tournament.
NaVi dominated TNC in Game 1 as the Razor of Danil "Dendi" Ishutin reigned supreme, and the Ukranian club appeared to be getting the 2-0 sweep as a mid-game wipeout put them up, 19-12.
But Marc Fausto's Drow Ranger took over and closed in on kills and eventually mauled NaVi's mid lane.
NaVi still put one last gallant stand a little later in the match, but a 4-0 kill exchange by TNC at the Radiant jungle proved fatal as they quickly finished the game by going back to the mid lane.
TNC ended the first day of their TI6 journey with a 3-3 record.
