MANILA--As the new DOTA 2 season ushers in, expect a radically different TNC from its splendid finish at TI6.
In a shocking development on Saturday, as per the e-sport's transfer window site, three of the members of TNC's team who provided significant contribution for its Top 8 finish in the said tournament, the farthest a Filipino club has gone in The International, left the team.
The said website first announced the departure of Carlo Palad before officially saying that his fellow carry player, Marc Fausto, also left the team.
An hour and a half later, the DOTA 2 site also announced that US-based support player Jimmy Ho also parted ways with TNC.
The development leaves skipper Nico Barcelon and offlaner Sam Hidalgo as the players left from the TI6 squad.
While the three gamers can still opt to re-sign with TNC, all eyes will be on whether they will indeed return to TNC or go elsewhere, especially in the case of Palad, who was once part of Mineski.
Mineski also said goodbye to three players as announced in the transfer window, Jun Kanehara, Mark Pilar, and Benhur Lawis, leaving the door wide open for a potential reunion project with Palad.
The other Philippine team in TI6, Execration, also announced via the transfer window that the club waived RR Peñano, who also had a stint with Mineski, and Nando Mendoza.
