Alaska pummels GlobalPort on late second half push

ANTIPOLO--Alaska complicated matters in the race for the last PBA Governors' Cup quarterfinal seats with a 133-106 takedown of GlobalPort at the Ynares Center on Wednesday night,

The Aces went on a 12-0 run late in the third quarter to pull away from the Batang Pier for good before eventually increasing the lead to 27 in the end.

LaDontae Henton tallied 33 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists for Alaska, which moved to a three-way tie for seventh place with NLEX and Rain Or Shine at 4-5.

Terrence Romeo fired 26 points, four rebounds, six assists, and two steals for GlobalPort, which slipped to 3-6, a full game behind the three aforementioned clubs with two games left in their respective schedules.
