Casimero stays as IBF champ after KO of Edwards

LONDON--Johnriel Casimero successfully defended his IBF flyweight title after knocking out Charlie Edwards at the O2 Arena on Sunday (Philippine Time).

Casimero dealt a huge left hook to the erstwhile unbeaten Edwards that floored the latter en route to the TKO at the 1:57 mark of the 10th round.

The Filipino champ moved up to 23-3, scoring the 15th knockout win of his career, while Edwards suffered his first professional loss following an 8-0 start.
