MANILA-- Forza consolidate their hold on the eight spot in the table as they gave listless Laos another routine beating earlier in the afternoon at the Rizal Memorial Stadium

A five-minute brace by forward Park Kyul complemented Nicolas Ferrer's opening strike to pace the Alabang squad as they snapped a four match losing skin on their fourth win of the season, consolidating their hold of eight place with 13 points.

Hamed Hadjimahdi provided a litte consolation for the undermanned outfit with a beautifully placed free kick just two minutes before full-time, but Laos limped to their third defeat in their last four matches and still stuck at the bottom on seven points, two behind Nomads who already withdrew before the second round began.

The FEU standout opened the floodgates for Forza boss Arvin Soliman just eight minutes in, as he converted the South Korean's pass to score from inside the box.

Twenty-four minutes later, Park turned goalscorer this time when he pounced on a loose ball off a Stephen Burda free kick to dobule their advantage.

Five minutes later, Forza's number ten then completed his brace with an empty net strike to repay Soliman's trust in him to start as he stepped up to replace the suspended Lionel Mekong.

Abu Ibrahim then took over in the second half as he stop various chances for the former Division 2 champions, including a free kick by Hamed six minutes into the restart.

However, the Iranian got back on him just before full-time, as he curled a free kick that defeated the Nigerian into the bottom right corner but that was a case of too little, too late for Laos as they sunk to their tweltfth setback of the season.
