GlobalPort edges Blackwater in 139-126 shootout

ANTIPOLO--They may have been eliminated from PBA Governors' Cup quarterfinals contention, but that did not stop GlobalPort and Blackwater from putting up an offensive showcase at the Ynares Center.

The Batang Pier, however, walked away from their Wednesday night shootout against the Elite victorious by getting the better of the 139-126 result.

GlobalPort actually came back from a 12-point first half deficit and outscored Blackwater, 71-56, in the second half.

Joseph Yeo dropped 37 points along with four rebounds and six assists, while Mike Glover contributed 34 points, 18 rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and one steal for the Batang Pier.

Stanley Pringle also had a double-double with 14 points and 10 assists, while Terrence Romeo flirted with his own double-double after chipping 28 points and nine assists. The Batang Pier had 35 dimes as a whole.

Keala King had 28 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, and one steal, while Roi Sumang had a conference-high 22 points with four rebounds and two assists for Blackwater.
