Louis Clark came back from suspension with a bang with a hat-trick. |
MANILA-- Kaya rained where it poured the most, as they gave a listless Laos another sound beating, 8-0 to continue their upward stride in the UFL action early Saturday afternoon at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
Chris Greatwich's men fired four goals in each half to post their 10th win of the season to tighten their grip at fifth in the league table on 31 points, just 3 points off archrivals Loyola.
Forward Louis Clark came back with a back from a suspension, notching a hat-trick in the process as Kaya made it back-to-back wins in the second round for the second time. The Englishman scored in the 17th, 65th and 87th to hike his second round tally with five.
Despite the suspension of midfielder Miguel Tanton after his winner against Ceres last week, his absence was hardly felt as four other Kaya players were on the scoresheet as well, with Kenshiro Daniels netting his own brace (9th, 80th) as well, as Sean Kane (19th), Junior Muñoz (33rd) and Janrick Soriano (76th, penalty kick) ensured that they will sweep all of their matches with the former second division champions, outscoring them by 21 after three games.
