PASAY--Rain Or Shine lived to fight another day as the team mauled Star, 108-97, in its do-or-die PBA Governors' Cup game at the Mall of Asia Arena on Friday night.

The Elasto Painters used a 26-15 second quarter to pull away for good from the sluggish Hotshots and earned a showdown with the Phoenix Fuel Masters for the last seat in the quarterfinals.

Josh Dollard tallied 27 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, and one steal, while Beau Belga added 14 points, one rebound, one block, and one steal for ROS.

Joel Wright also had 27 markers along with 10 boards, three assists, and three steals to lead Star, which ended a miserable season in an even sourer note.
