MANDALUYONG--Mark Muñoz revealed to the media that he is on the right track at turning his vision of a wrestling school to a reality.
"There is a good possibility. I'm actually at the planning stages of it now," said the former UFC fighter in a publicity event for the said promotion at the SM Megamall Events Center on Saturday.
Even helping the cause is his meet-up with "Kuya" Brandon Vera, who also bared his plans of putting up his own grappling school.
"We've talked about different things on how we can work together. I told him, 'Whatever I do, for sure, you're gonna be involved.' We're gonna see each other a lot," Muñoz bared some things they talked about during their bonding the week before.
For the meantime, he is helping Eduard Folayang prepare for his One lightweight title showdown against Shinya Aoki along with some other Filipino MMA pugs who want to hone their ground game.
"Eduard Folayang came to my gym. Mark Eddiva was very receptive. Jenel [Lausa], said, 'I wanna work with you.' There's a lot of fighters here that I can work with just to add more to their game," Muñoz said about his visitors.
