MANILA--What is brewing to be a guard-loaded PBA Draft class just became more guard-laden.

Racal's Raphy Banal, Tanduay's Gelo Alolino, and former NCAA stars Ryusei Koga and Paolo Pontejos officially declared for the draft as the league announced on Thursday that they submitted their applications.

Banal and Alolino, who were former national youth team players, Koga, and Pontejos headline the next batch of draft applicants for the Oct. 30 event at the Robinson's Place Manila Atrium.

Also joining the draft are Alolino's fellow NU Bulldogs Jeoff Javillonar, Tristan Perez, and Reden Celda, Edzel Mag-isa, Jerald Cueto, and Charley Caluya.

The deadline for draft application was reset to Oct. 19 pending a discussion between the PBA and the SBP regarding the proposed special draft exclusively for Gilas 5.0.
