MANILA--CBRE dominated the fourth week of the JML 7's at the Gatorade-Chelsea Blue Pitch in Makati over the weekend.
The Mavericks' plate, bowl and women's sides had to play back-to-back games each, but they bucked the wear-and-tear and simply overpower their opponents to complete the 6-0 sweep for the week.
Meanwhile, the Alabang Eagles proved to be too much for the Clark Jets in the cup division after going 2-0 in their Week 4 series.
Despite Jonel Madrona drawing first blood for the Jets in both games, the Eagles soared higher by dominating the rest of the way, eventually scoring a 27-5 rout in the first game and a 17-5 win in the rematch.
The Eagles, with the back-to-back wins over the Jets, solidified their hold of the top spot in the division.
Meanwhile, La Liga got its first win of the tournament with a 12-0 blanking of QCPU.
Action swings back to the Southern Plains Rugby Field in Calamba on Saturday starting at 12:45 p.m.
