MANILA--The Philippines will play Kyrgyzstan for the second time in their final pre-Suzuki Cup friendly on November 9 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium instead of Bocaue's Philippine Sports Stadium, the Philippine Football Federation confirmed on Monday.
After being wiped out in October by Bahrain and North Korea at the same venue, Thomas Dooley and co. who are ranked 125 in the world are looking to end their build up on a high note against the Central Asians in whom they beat away in Bishkek last September.
Kyrgyzstan are ranked 108 in the world by FIFA, and they are coming off an unbeaten October homestand after losing to the Azkals, drawing with Lebanon and defeating Turkmenistan.
Both sides will see their FIFA rankings adjusted as the world's governing football body releases it's updated list on Thursday.
After the friendly, the Azkals will kick off the eleventh edition of the ASEAN Championship ten days later against four-time champions Singapore in Bocaue.
