MANILA--Dylan Ababou could get a career revival at Blackwater after he was traded there from TNT for Frank Golla.
Commissioner Chito Narvasa approved the one-on-one swap on Tuesday.
Ababou, a former member of the original Gilas Pilipinas squad, will now play mentor to current Gilas star Mac Belo as well as he can get more playing time with the Elite following a so-so stint with the KaTropa.
On the other hand, Golla is expected to add more ceiling to the KaTropa side led by Mo Tautuaa and Troy Rosario.
In a separate approved trade consummated by TNT, Aaron Aban joins GlobalPort in exchange of the latter's 2019 second round pick originally owned by San Miguel.
