MAKATI—A different kind of motocross and mountain biking experience comes your way at the first Vermosa Active Revolution on Dec. 3-4 at the Vermosa Bike Skills Park in Imus.
It's all about biking and promoting a healthy lifestyle through sports," said Vermosa Bike Skills Park operator Parabanne Mendoza during the media launch at the Buffalo Wild Wings Restaurant inside the Glorietta Mall on Thursday.
In particular, Mendoza said that this event is a means of promoting mountain biking as a way to become fit.
"In mountain biking, as you go on riding, you think of it as an exercise. As you go along and make some adventures, at the same time, you're having a healthy lifestyle," he added.
Vermosa Estate Head Jay Teodoro, on the other hand, said that he wants to have a unique style of celebrating Christmas annually in the said village, prompting him to go beyond a simple bazaar, which was what Vermosa organized last Yuletide season, and push through with the sports expo.
"This year, we want to have something that is related to the overall value proposition of the project, and Vermosa is about healthy and active living," he said.
On what to expect in the two-day event, Teodoro said, "There will be a bike clinic and a sports and lifestyle expo."
The main highlight of the Vermosa Active Revolution is the appearance of renowned mountain biker Danny MacAskill, who will perform on both days.
