MANILA--A few days after still suiting up for Ginebra in a preseason game, Nico Salva found himself with another team.
The Barangay gave the 6-foot-4 winger to the Mahindra Floodbusters for a future second round draft pick.
The trade, which was consummated on Monday, a day after Salva nearly played hero for Ginebra against Blackwater in a tuneup match in Batangas City, was made official on Thursday.
Salva played sparingly for the Barangay last season, although he had some moments in their Governors' Cup title conquest.
Now, he will join a heavily retooled Floodbusters squad looking to build up on their first playoff appearance last conference.
