MANILA--Blackwater and Rain Or Shine look to get back to the winning track quickly as the teams face off as the PBA Philippine Cup returns to the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Friday night.

The Elite and the Elasto Painters collide in the 4:15 p.m. curtain raiser, where they try to rebuild a winning streak after they saw their hot start being submerged over the weekend.

Blackwater fell to TNT last Friday, while ROS was tripped by Ginebra on Sunday night, incurring their respective first losses of the tournament.

Coach Caloy Garcia is aware that the Elite can pull off another giant slaying.

"Anybody can beat anybody now, so we just can't relax," the E-Painters coach said.

The KaTropa are also actually in action on Friday as they take on sister squad Meralco Bolts in the main game at 7 p.m.

Jayson Castro's return spearheaded TNT's reality check on Blackwater, and he is expected to once again lead the team against the young Meralco core.

Adding fuel to the KaTropa is Nash Racela finally taking charge of them after his stint with the FEU Tamaraws in the UAAP is done.
