MANILA—UST stunned Kaya, 8-1, in their PFF Women's League match at the Rizal Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
Charisa Lemoran dropped five goals to lead the Tigresses' huge giant-slaying.
Christille Cleofe opened the scoring for UST in the third minute before Lemoran quickly added a hat trick to stretch the lead to four 21 minutes in.
Hazel Lustan struck a goal of her own for the Tigresses before Lemoran added one more before the halftime break for a 6-0 cushion.
Glynnes Dela Cruz struck one goal back for Kaya via a 61st minute penalty, but Cleofe and Lemoran each struck one more a little later in the second half for the final tally.
"Big achievement po ito para sa akin kasi first time ko pong maka-five goals," said Lemoran after what would be a career game for her.
The game between Outkast and UP is playing as of press time.
