MANILA--Filipino One Championship fans will not need to wait long for the promotion's return trip to the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay as the MMA outfit set an April 21 event.

As per an announcement on Tuesday, One will have two fight cards for next year, and the first will take place on the said date. The other event will be on Nov. 10.

Like Pasay, One will also have two stops in Jakarta, where the first fight card of the year will take on Jan. 14, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Beijing, and Yangon in 2017.

On the other hand, One will also have a visit to Macau, Shenzhen, and Shanghai.

What makes the 2017 calendar interesting, however, is the promotion's first MMA event in Vietnam on Oct. 27 at the Tien Son Sport Center in Da Nang. South Korea and Japan are also set to host their own One Championship fight cards at dates to be announced later.

“One Championship is coming out in full force... with plans to break into new and exciting markets in Vietnam, South Korea and Japan. I know fans can’t wait for One to come to town. Get ready for one of the biggest years in MMA,” vowed CEO Victor Cui.
