MANILA -- Hiraya cap off the Sunday tripleheader showcase of the PFF Women's League, sneaking past a gritty Fuego Espanya side with a 2-0 win late in the evening at the Rizal Memorial.

It took 86 minutes for Amanda Fernandez, Natasha Alquiros and co. to finally getting the breakthrough to grab all three points in a slightly drizzled affair, with strikes of Vanessa Fabon and Richell Placencia gave them just their second win in their fourth match.

Diana Redondo made numerous saves for the whole match, frustrating Fernandez and Aisa Mondero early on while being attended by the medics at least four times before conceding late to keep them winless and scoreless for the fifth time in as many outings.

After a couple of times being frustrated by Redondo and the goalframe, Hiraya finally get their bearings in time with Fabon firing the breakthrough four minutes from full-time, before Placencia added the insurance in the third minute of stoppage time.
