MANILA -- La Salle remain unbeaten in the PFF Women's League after scraping past UST, 2-1 in a tight affair earlier in the afternoon at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
Kyra Dimaandal bagged a first-half brace to power Hans-Peter Smit's women in green another close triumph and gave Charisa Lemoran a run for her money in the Golden Boot Race, although the latter also scored in the match for the equalizer.
Dimaandal drew first blood with a 9th minute strike that was cancelled out by Lemoran midway thru the first half. But the senior had the last laugh six minutes before half-time for the go-ahead strike.
La Salle kept their nerve on the defensive end at the restart that saw them taking maximum points for the fifth match in a row.
