MANILA -- FEU pounded more misery to the Adamson Falcons with a 4-0 beating in the lone men's match in the UAAP earlier in the evening at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Sophomore striker Rico Andes bagged a brace in a wire-to-wire win for Vince Santos' Tamaraws, scoring on each half in the 38th and the 67th minute to retain their hold at second by taking maximum points for the second time running, only behind to Ateneo due to their inferior goal difference.

Dominique Canonigo (10') and Val Jurao (45+1') completed the goalfest for FEU, while sending Adamson to the cellar of the UAAP table with still no points and no goals to show for.

Yet despite the first half blitz, Santos said that they still have better movement at the restart. "

We just couldn't score," lamented the former Ateneo booter in which they have 12 more matches to get used to their new system that differs from his predecessor Kim Chul-su.

"Malaki ang adjustment namin from the system namin last year. Kaya napapractice pa kami dun, di pa namin masyadong nakukuha pero naaaply namin sa game," the brace-scoring Andes echoed.
