MANILA -- Global are looking to use their AFC Champions League experience to the hilt for their AFC Cup opener tonorrow vs Myanmar's Magwe when they met the press earlier today.

Manager Toshiaki Imai and club captain Misagh Bahadoran expressed not just excitement, but also concerns in starting their second stint in the AFC Cup which will kick off tomorrow at 7:30 in the evening at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

For the Japanese tactician, there are some concerns regarding their team system, since they came from a three week breather after their ACL campaign was crushed by A-League's Brisbane Roar

However, Bahadoran assures his mentor that they will give them a good game against the neophytes of the tournament, whose young squad gave them the Aung San Shield last year.

"We don't go to the game without confidence," the striker said, adding that the ACL experience will hopefully help them became a better team in their group which includes 2015 titlists Johor Darul Ta'zim.

"We learn so many things in the AFC Champions League, we bring those mistakes and hopefully we can fix them," Bahadoran quoted.
