MANILA--The Blackwater Elite found a boost to their lacking offensive firepower as they acquire star forward KG Canaleta in a three-player deal in a deal that was approved this Wednesday.

The winless Elite grabbed Canaleta's services in exchange for Dylan Ababou and James Forrester in a transaction with the fellow winless squad Batang Pier.

KG Canaleta, who previously suited for Ginebra, was traded for the tenth time in the span of twelve years in the world's second oldest league.

Blackwater also signed free agent Mark Cruz, who recently starred for Tanduay in the PBA D-League.

Canaleta is expected to fill the hole that their mainman Art Dela Cruz left after suffering an injury.

Despite losing a key player, the Batang Pier added two helping hands in the lineup to degrade their star players' load.

The Batang Pier also recently got their very own Terrence Romeo back after missing some games due to a recent illness.
