QUEZON CITY--"Mas maganda kung sampung championships."
That was Junemar Fajardo's response when asked whether he eyes winning more BPC awards after seizing his fifth on the night of the San Miguel Beermen's 94-85 victory over Ginebra in Game 4 of the PBA Philippine Cup Finals.

He then followed up, ''Para masaya lahat."
Despite dominating the league's top individual honors for years now, the reigning MVP persists on being an ultimate team player, deflecting the credit to the sphere that surrounds him every time he steps on the hard court.
Albeit not putting too much weight on his latest personal achievement, Fajardo still admits being proud of leveling Danny Ildefonso's number of BPC Awards.
"Syempre nakaka-proud. 'Di ko inexpect na mapapantayan ko siya." he said of his former mentor.

With just a win separating him from another championship to add to his basketball resume, Fajardo vows to go all out as his team braces for a gallant fight back from Ginebra on Sunday.
