MANILA--Jenel Lausa's return to the UFC did not end well for him as he bowed to debuting Magomed Bibulatov in the curtain-raiser of UFC 210 at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo on Sunday (Philippine Time).

The Russian fighter was simply too much for the Iloilo native, showcasing his powerful strikes that even earned him a 10-8 round.

Referee John McCarthy gave a penalty to Bibulatov in second round for an accidental low blow on Lausa, but it hardly mattered as Bibulatov walked away with identical 29-26 scorecards for the unanimous decision victory.

Bibulatov moved to 14-0, while Lausa slipped to 7-3.
