PASIG--Gilas is indeed going for the kill in the SEABA Men's Championship.
Team manager Butch Antonio told reporters on Monday night at the Meralco Gym that Andray Blatche will join the national team for its SEABA campaign starting May 12 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
"We are working with the group of Andray. We've come to terms. Date na lang ang pinag-uusapan kung kailan siya darating. But he is playing for us," Antonio said.
The 6-foot-11 center is fresh from a successful stint with Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) club Xinjiang, in which he helped lift the squad to the CBA title.
With a CBA championship already in Blatche's hands, Antonio said that he is expected to be in "terrific shape" when he comes likely by late April.
