MANILA -- Alab Pilipinas' season have ended more than three weeks ago, but they will not go home empty-handed somehow, as Bobby Ray Parks dethrones Singapore's Wong Wei Long to become the new ABL Local MVP as the league handed out this season's individual awards before Game 4 of the Finals between the Slingers and Hong Kong Eastern in the Lion City's OCBC Arena.

In just his debut year in the ABL, Parks went head and shoulders above every local player in the regular season, firing in his average of 19 point 7.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game in Alab's third place finish with a 11-9 card for Mac Cuan.

Despite not playing for at least six quarters in Alab's semifinal exit against the Slingers, Parks wreaked havoc in most of the games, as breaks two ABL records along at the same Olivarez floor in his hometown of Parañaque.

The former NU standout first torched the Sucat nets for 41 points to set a new single game scoring by a local record in December of last year against Kaohsiung, then followed it up a month later by going perfect for 8/8 from behind the long line to set a new season record for most triples made in a game against a shorthanded Saigon side.
