Golden State pulls away late to go 3-0 up against Utah

MANILA--Golden State broke loose in the dying moments of Game 3 of the NBA Western Conference semifinals and turned back Utah, 102-91, at the Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City on Sunday (Philippine Time).

The Warriors went on a 9-0 run to stretch their lead, which was at two points, 86-84 with 3:56 remaining, to 11, 95-84, with 2:37 left and held on to the double-digit spread in the end.

Kevin Durant dropped 38 points for Golden State, which took a 3-0 lead in their playoff series with Utah, along with 13 rebounds, one assist, one block, and one steal.

Steph Curry took over in the fourth quarter, making all of his field goals and free throws in the final 12 minutes, and finished with 23 points, five rebounds, and four assists without a single turnover.

Gordon Hayward led Utah with 29 points, two rebounds, and six assists.

The Warriors can complete the sweep on Tuesday (Philippine Time).
