SAN JUAN, MM--Jeron Teng and Thomas Torres finally felt what it is like at the wrong side of the "mayhem".

La Salle dealt incoming PBA D-League side Flying V, which signed up former King Archers Teng and Torres, an 72-88 defeat in the latter's final tune-up game at the FilOil Flying V Centre on Sunday night.

The Green Archers first unleashed their "mayhem" in the opening quarter, slowing down the Thunder, who had a fine start, and forcing them to settle for a 19-17 lead at the end of the period.

The offense picked up in the second quarter that ended with Flying V leading, 44-43.

But La Salle stifled Flying V in the second half, limiting the latter to only 28 points the rest of the way.

Ben Mbala led the Green Archers, who came from a come-from-behind overtime win against Lyceum two nights ago, with 19 points, 10 rebounds, one assists, one block, and one steal, while Santi Santillan and Andrei Caracut each added 17 points.

Teng still finished with 24 points, four rebounds, and two assists for the Thunder, who will debut in the D-League Foundation Cup against the Cignal Hawkeyes on Thursday night, but he felt the grunt of the Archers' pressure defense system as he was forced to commit six turnovers.

Eric Salamat also got the feeling of the "mayhem" as he was limited to only two points in the second half following a 17-point explosion in the first half, badly missing all of his four shots from deep in the last 20 minutes after going 5-of-7 in the first 20.

Torres chipped in 12 points against his former team.
