MANILA--Stallion Laguna and JPV Marikina are hoping to end their streak of goalless stalemates when they face each other in Biñan on Wednesday for the second midweek fixture of the PFL.
Having their fixtures scrapped due to inclement weather, both teams are looking forward for the first meeting between the original and the adopted tenants of the Alonte pitch this year, after they shared the points last season with a pair of goose eggs in the UFL.
Voltes gaffer Dan Padernal said that preparation is key for them, as they try to improve their standing in the inaugural season.
"Both teams is eager to win to catch up in the table. So this is a good game for us to play against Stallion," Padernal said.
Laguna assistant Sam Bonney also wanted all three points and also the bragging rights in Biñan.
"Everything is under control. We will do all we can to win this," Bonney quoted.
