PASAY--Elfrid Payton is not the only NBA player in town right now.

Oklahoma City center Enes Kanter arrived on Wednesday as part of his Enes Kanter Light Foundation Global Tour.

As part of his itinerary, the 6-foot-11 big man from Turkey paid a courtesy call to the House of Representatives in Quezon City, meeting with Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez and some other congressmen.

The main highlight of his Philippine tour is a gift-giving event at the White Cross Orphanage and an exhibition game with the students of the Fountain International School at the Greenhills West Clubhouse in San Juan City. He will also return to the Congress to play hoops there.

This is the third stop of Kanter's charity tour having visited Tokyo and Seoul earlier this week.

NBA Philippines earlier announced the arrival of Payton as part of the Jr. NBA National Training Camp over the weekend.
