TRECE MARTIRES--Leading golf apparel brand Oakley paid it forward to the Philippine Junior Golfers League, giving out PHP100,000 during the 5th Oakley Golf Cup at the Sherwood Hills Golf Club on Monday.

The said amount was the proceeds of the said charity event. The PJGL will use the money for its future projects and to help some of its members in their upcoming competitions here and abroad.

A good number of golf enthusiasts that included actor Vandolph Quizon, PBA player Joseph Yeo, PBA legend Vince Hizon, and PBA coach Jorge Gallent, who was once a junior golfer during the late 80's and the early 90's, joined the tournament.

Quizon would top the Men's Division B tourney eventually, while Gallent finished runner-up to Jeff Bernaldez in the Men's Division A.
