ROS import change made official; Crews suits up against Ginebra

By Ivan Saldajeno

MANILA--With Rain Or Shine trying to even evade seventh place in the PBA Commissioner's Cup standings, the team decided to re-sign Duke Crews.

The league officially announced on Friday morning, just hours before it swings back to action following the SEABA break, that the Elasto Painters will replace Shawn Taggart with Crews, who played with them in the 2012 Commissioner's Cup.

Crews is eligible to suit up for ROS as it takes on Ginebra later Friday at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay.

The E-Painters currently at 4-4, try to keep out of falling to the seventh seed, which could mean a twice-to-beat disadvantage in the quarterfinals, as they battle the Barangay, who on the other hand are chasing a twice-to-beat advantage in the next round.
