TAGUIG--It is on the streets where future basketball
stars are born.
And Adidas gave the country’s rising stars the chance to
experience outdoor playground ball with Uprising Philippines as San Beda
College Taytay A defeated Malayan High School of Science, 76-64, on Saturday night at
the Titan Love Court to conquer the second staging of the annual tournament.
Sebastian Valencia and Joshua Buenaflor led the Red Cubs
with 16 apiece, while tournament MVP Anfernee Estacio finished with 11 markers.
Joshua Bairan also contributed ten for the victors.
Joining Estacio in the mythical first team are teammates
Buenaflor and Justine Sanchez, as well as Giam Quiambao and Lloyd Oliva of
MHSS.
Those who comprise the second mythical team are: Julian
Jugo (La Salle Greenhills A), Ernest Felisilda (National University), Kenji
Duremdes (LSGH A), Kyle Rivera (LSGH A), and Kevin Quiambao (NU).
Meanwhile, NU routed LSGH A, 77-34, to claim third place.
