PASIG--For the first time this PFL season, Meralco Manila failed to score a win as the club blew a 2-0 lead and let Davao force a draw to the delight of the crowd in Tagum on Wednesday.

But for Coach Aris Caslib, the result was still fine for him.

"One point is still good for us," said Caslib on Friday.

However, he rued, "Everyone in the club knew that we could have gone home with the win."

Despite all of this, Caslib insisted that the goal to get the maximum three points remains ahead of Meralco Manila's Saturday night home battle against Stallion Laguna at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in the nation's capital.

"There's no adjustment. We'll try to get the three points. That's the attitude of the team," continued Caslib during the pre-match press conference at the Lighthouse Restaurant inside the Meralco office.

In the rematch of the league's inaugural game, Manila tries to repeat its 5-1 maulng of Laguna in Biñan right on Manila Day.

However, Manila will have three key players sitting out as skipper James Younghusband and Connor Tacagni are recovering from their respective injuries while veteran Simon Greatwich will serve his one-game suspension due to accumulated yellow cards.
