MANILA--Cignal sent Wang's back to earth through a 94-69 blowout in their PBA D-League Foundation Cup battle at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig on Thursday.
The Hawkeyes blasted the Couriers from the get-go and never looked back as they moved up to third place at 6-2.
Jason Perkins led Cignal with 24 points, five rebounds, and two blocks, while Pamboy Raymundo added 18 points, four assists, two rebounds, and two steals.
Oping Sumalinog also got five boards and two blocks alongside 15 points, while Raymar Jose came close to a double-double with eight points and 12 rebounds with three assists and three steals.
John Ambulodto flirted with a double-double as well, tallying 19 points and nine rebounds with four blocks for Wang's, which despite its winning streak snapped at two remains in fifth place at 3-3.
However, the CEU Scorpions, who are playing the AMA Titans as of press time, can overtake the Couriers in fifth with a win.
