BIÑAN--Stallion Laguna and Davao fought to a goalless stalemate in a PFL clash at the Biñan Football Stadium on Sunday night.
Laguna, however, somehow escaped with the draw as Davao misfired its best chance to steal the road win.
Laguna was the more aggressive side all match long and was nearly rewarded in the 20th minute when Balot Doctora found himself with only Markus Trkulja to beat only that his flicker was too strong.
Davao got a breakthrough opportunity in the 69th minute as Gilmar Fernandez was fouled by Christian Nana inside the box.
Nikola Grubsejic, however, missed the spot kick as his shot hit the crossbar.
Laguna remained aggressive the rest of the way, but the team could not just find the target.
Both sides moved up to two points after five matches with Davao just ahead on goal difference.
