MANILA--Spencer Pretta showed his former team what it is going to miss from him.

Pretta led Lyceum to an 86-71 rout of San Sebastian in the first knockout quarterfinal of the FilOil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan City on Friday.

Pretta dropped 17 points on five triples with one rebound, three assists, and one steal off the bench to lead the Pirates, who broke out of a close first quarter with a 27-point second quarter and an impressive defense that saw the Golden Stags only scoring 14 third quarter points.

"Sabi niya na ready lang siya, and he's from San Sebastian, so there's more [motivation]. He's just confident," said Coach Topex Robinson on Pretta's big game against his former squad.

Another former Baste player, CJ Perez, added 14 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists for Lyceum, which will face the winner of the La Salle-FEU game later Wednesday in the semifinals on Friday.

Alfren Gayoso led San Sebastian with 14 points, two rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
