MANILA--Even in a morning game, Jeron Teng can explode.
Teng dropped 35 points as Flying V repulsed Gamboa, 119-105, in a rare early Monday clash in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Teng, who also had three rebounds and three assists, shot 12-of-19 from the field in a game where the Thunder slowly but surely pulled away from the Coffee Lovers.
Eric Salamat added 20 points on four triples with one rebound, four assists, and four steals.
Val Acuña tallied 22 points, one rebound, one assist, and one steal for Gamboa.
