MANILA--Jimmy Yabo will represent the Philippines in One: Light of a Nation at the Thuwanna Indoor Stadium in Yangon on June 30.
The 36-year-old Yabo, who got all of his five wins through stoppages, takes on 26-year-old young gun Bruno Pucci in one of the undercard matches in the said fight night.
Pucci is known for his impressive ground game, delivering rear naked chokes to his opponents en route to submission victories.
Meanwhile, Mei Yamaguchi and Jenny Huang, two women who faced off Angela Lee for the One women's championship, lock horns in another match in the fight card.
The veteran Yamaguchi and the upstart Huang will try to go all out to get the win that could pull them closer to a rematch with Lee.
